I’m an American and I’ve got to say right on with the Frump factor! It bothers me as well. I’m not a princess; I do my own cooking, cleaning, moving and other basic car maintenance. But I like to look like a woman, not a frump. The one thing I see often that make me roll my eyes is big clunky shoes. A woman spends so much time trying to make most of the rest of her body look slim and then attachs these monstrosities to her feet. WHY?! Oh, well, nice post.

American woman dating Brazilian man. I’ve heard through my boyfriend and a couple of my Brazilian friends of several examples of a married Brazilian couple where the wife and husband live in two separate towns. Is it very common or have I just paid undue attention to the examples?

Hi, I’m Frank…I live in Mexico City.

Studying for my English classes.
I found it interesting that in the U.S. is frowned upon wear Speedos.

I love swimming and I practice at the competition, is a requirement in my country use this type of clothing.

And that Mexico is very conservative.

Mulheres desesperadas se oferecendo pra casamento, americanos contando histórias de brasileiras interesseiras, ladras, sogras exploradoras, gente sem respeito, sem vergonha na cara, sem caráter, sem noção.

Quem sou eu pra dar opinião sobre a vida alheia, não é verdade?
Algumas pessoas crescem em ambientes que não propiciam muito o desenvolvimento de um bom caráter, dignidade, orgulho, amor próprio. Eu sei que isso às vezes é a razão pela qual as pessoas tornam-se “biscates” quando chegam à idade adulta.

Longe de mim querer ser a palmatória do mundo. Mas só a título de desabafo, eu vou dizer. Às vezes me dá vergonha de ser brasileira, como é o caso agora. Uma nação extremamente mal representada por essas desclassificadas.

hi there, I’m John as well (english) and also seeing a woman from MG. How do you find them when it comes to paying…for anything? Would you expect to pick up all the house bills, entertaining etc?? whuilst she keeps her money in the bank? Am i being paranoid?

Well, I am english and living in spain and I would appreciate some feedback. I am 55 slim and fit. I was working in Brazil and met a white brazilian woman 48 years and beautiful……we clicked and I saw her a few times whilst there and went to stay in her town for 3 weeks in the summer. she is well educated, a prfessor at a local university and has her own business. I have met her parents and her family and we got along very well. She still lives at home for convenience (she owns a house in the country but never uses it) and has never been married. she wants me to go and live in Brazil. I said i would but i still have a house in spain to maintain and a small house in the UK so could she help with the bills if I rent a house ….she said no the man pays everything……is this normal….she earns money…i finD it difficult to understand that if she wants a new life with me she could afford to contribute….i have reservations because i have been divorced and had everything taken from me ONCE….ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. JOHN

A última vez que fui ao dentista, no ano passado, me senti como um carro na linha de produção. A assistente do dentista me preparou enquanto ele estava com outro paciente na sala ao lado. Esperei pouco mais de um minuto quando ele terminou com o outro e ao meu lado trocou as luvas, lanvando as mãos na minha frente, me cumprimentou e começou o serviço. Enquanto trabalhava comentava com a assistente sobre a casa nova onde morava.Alguns minutos antes de terminar o serviço na minha boca, a assistente já saiu para a sala ao lado para preparar outro paciente que havia chegado. Terminado o serviço comigo, se despediu e deixou que a assitente passasse as últimas informções. Saí da sala, paguei pela consulta enquanto outro paciente ocupava o meu lugar na cadeira.Mais ou menos como a linha de produção de uma montadora de veículos.Os veículos não falam, eu também não podia falar enquanto ele trabalhava na minha boca…..
O Serviço ficou ótimo.
